When exposed to a hostile situation , the body goes into a mode of fight or flight will continue until the threat is caused . When the body goes into battle mode or stolen , you will experience a number of the following conditions:

- Heart rate increased to provide faster delivery of blood from the body .
- Blood pressure will be increased to ensure that the blood is regulated in the body effectively .
- The person blowing harder and faster to get more oxygen into the body from the environment.
- The body breaks down glycogen in the liver and muscles to ensure that the body gets the glucose it needs to function.
- The body produce more of its own glucose from non-carbohydrate sources to make sure you have enough to supply the body until the threat is removed .
When these things happen , the body will show some of the following symptoms :
- Heart Palpitations
- Chest pain
- Inability to sleep
- Difficulty speaking or dry mouth
- Feeling out of breath
- Anxiety
- Upset stomach
- Loose stools
- Blood sugar
- Decreased appetite
- Decreased libido
- Feeling Flush or warm
- Goosebumps
- Back pain or neck pain, headaches
- Tantrums
- Depression
The effects of long-term stress
When these stress triggers are persistent - that is always there - or recurring - for more often , the body reacts in the same way , releasing more stress hormones in the body. When stress hormones remain high for long periods of time , we begin to see the effects of long-term stress come into play such as:
- Mood disorders and anxiety
- Depression
- Bowel conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome or Crohn 's disease
- Heart Attack
- Race
- Insomnia
- Decreased libido
- Increased risk of asthma
- Addiction
- Chronic headaches
- Weight loss
- Memory Problems
To combat the effects of stress in the short and long term, do your best to calm nerves and unsubscribe from stressful situations in hand, and the things that cause them . No one can escape their stress triggers to make an action plan to deal with stressors and make sure that you take the time to relax on a regular basis. If you work stress, divide it into smaller parts to reduce the feeling of crushing or taking a vacation . If the kids are stressing out , take a break of five minutes in the bathroom. Minimizing stress is the key to a long and healthy life .
